Humanity’s struggle is for food health and prosperity. But unfortunately ,the adoption of modern methods of cultivation and use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has led to the poisoning of the food we eat and this in turn has led to the loss of good health, happiness and prosperity. Amruthsathva is one of the important projects of Srimath which encourages ‘Organic Farming’. Under this plan as a first step Organic Paddy cultivation is undertaken. The farmers in the villages around Sagara taluq in karntaka are encouraged to adopt organic paddy cultivation.Paddy grown will be supplied through the office of Srimath and other centers to the general public.
The objectives of the Amrutha satva project:

1. To encourage organic farming.
2. To make organic farm produced cost effective and affordable.
3. To supply detoxicated grown to farmers & public.
4. Direct marketing of farm produce from growers to encourage the buyers.
5. To encourage the raring of natural breeds of cow & thus increase the prosperity of the farmers.
6. To encourage internal market and so as to bringdown the imports of food grains & products.
7. To encourage cottage industries related to organic farm products and by-products of milk.
8. To encourage self-reliance.
9. To establish local self-government.
