Shree
Math promotes women’s education and empowerment. It
runs two free hostels for girl students and working women
at Honnavara and Siddapura.
Under the aegis of Shree
Math, at Badiyadka – Kerala and Vittla – Karnataka,
housewives have started co-operative stores Mahilodaya &
Anugraha respectively to market their home produce. Shree
Math encourages empowerment of women by conducting training
programmes on preparation of items like pure kumkum and
agarbathi. Training is also provided in skills like tailoring,
screen printing, etc.
