Spread the truth far and wide awareness campigns
• Bharathiya Gouyatra – A successful
awareness campaign on the native breed cattle; traversed South India,
covering 5830 Kms.
• Datta Shankara Gouyatra – A cattle
bridge between South and North. The Math distribured a large number
of Kankrej cattle of Rajasthan to farmers in South India.
• Bharathiya Gou Bank – Gives Desi
cattle to people on the condition that they will not sell them,
cross breed or adopt artificial insemination. The bank accepts cattle
as deposet when farmers find it difficult to maintain them.
• Bharathiya Gou Rakshaparishaths –
Committees constituded at taluque and district levels to fecilitate
establishment of Goushalas, cintres for procuring cow urine and
dung and organizing awareness programmes.
• Gousamsaths – Debates to clarify
the doubts of common people with regard to Desi cattle. These sessions
are being held all over India, especially in Karnataka and Kerala
and will culminate at the Vishwa Gou Sammelana.
• Vishwa Gou Sammelana – A nine
day world conference and festival on Indian breed cattle will be
held from April 21 to 29, 2007 at Shreemath, Hosanagara. It will
proclaim to the globe the greatness of the Desi cattle.
GOU SANJEEVINI
A popular mass movement launched recently by Shree Guruji to save
Desi cows from the jaws of death by buying them from people who sell
them to be slaughtered. Shree math accepts the responsibility of such
cows for life. Any one can participate in this noblest act of Jeevana
Daana by donating an amount.
