| Chandra Mouleeshwara |
| We can see the map of ‘Akhanda Bharatha’ (undivided India) in this. This is the map of the era of Shree Rama. Its a naturally formed wonder. This map is visible inside the Linga also. Inside this linga, there is a Triangle and many triangles inside it again. Each Traingle is of different colour and size. There is a minute dot at the Centre of this triangle. This small dot too is in a triangular shape. This Dot is ‘Shakthi’ and ‘Shiva’. There is a ‘Chandra Rekha’ in this and because of this Rekha (Line) the ‘Linga’ is called ‘Chandra Mouleeshwara’. Although there are Chandra Mouleeshwra Lingas in other Shankaracharya Peethas, only here we can see the Linga which is being worshipped by Shree Swamiji. The speciality of this Linga is that it changes its brightness according to the state of the moon during ‘Krishna Pakha’ and ‘Shukla Pakha’. |
